Fleetclear has been awarded a 3-year (+ 1 year) contract to provide tracking and telematics equipment for Kirklees Council’s fleet, comprising over 800 vehicles.
Fleet solution provider Fleetclear, previously known as ISS, first started working with the council in 2017 and has since installed camera recording systems, reverse radar, anti-theft + anti-rollaway technology and the Cyclear™ cyclist warning system across multiple vehicles in the fleet.

The council’s entire 800+ fleet of vehicles, including cars and vans, will also be monitored, and tracked using Fleetclear’s fleet management software – Fleetclear Connect. A powerful web-based software platform which encompasses all aspects of vehicle and driver safety, operational efficiency, and compliance. It is suitable for all vehicle types, easy to use andcombines vehicle hardware and safety technology with tachograph information, GPS tracking, telematics including fuel & carbon analysis, driver behaviour, and compliance monitoring.
Kirklees will benefit from system consolidation and will be able to access activation data from their Fleetclear Anti Roll Away systems and reversing data to help them with route risk analysis and proactive safety initiatives.
