New 2020 dates for HGV and PCV Fleet Management Essentials and for Car and Van Fleet Management Essentials are now available to book nationwide at the discounted rate of £130 +VAT for FORS members.
Fleet Management Essentials equips delegates with the knowledge and skills required to effectively perform the duties of the formally appointed ‘responsible person’, maintaining continuous and effective control of the fleet operation as required by Bronze requirement ‘M3 Responsible person’. Remember, the transitional provision introduced to assist operators with meeting this requirement is coming to an end on 31 December 2019. This means that those with a Bronze audit from 1 January 2020 onwards must have training on maintaining continuous and effective management of fleet activities completed and evidenced at the time of the audit. There are two Fleet Management Essentials courses to support the different types of operations:
HGV and PCV Fleet Management Essentials
This one-day course is designed for fleet management and supervisory staff working to achieve Operator Licence undertakings, and gives an overview of good fleet management principles, the Operator Licensing system and the FORS Standard.
