Vehicle Weighing Solutions has announced exciting new plans to expand its premises with a new production facility being added to their Chesterfield location. As the company continues to excel at being market leaders within the waste industry and suppliers of vehicle weighing systems, the new facility will provide the necessary means for their continued growing customer demand.
The new building will be an extension of the Chesterfield operation where VWS manufacture, install and service their vehicle weighing, bin weighing and overload protection systems. Proud to be a UK manufacturer, this new development will allow the weighing specialists to maintain complete control of their supply chain.
“The strategic decision to expand our operations in Chesterfield will position VWS to meet customer demand, particularly considering the large number of recent orders that we have received,” said Julian Glasspole, CEO. “In addition, our existing operations have been a consistent leader in the development and implementation of vehicle weighing systems, resulting in a reputation for quality and manufacturing excellence within the weighing industry.”
The groundworks for the 14,000 sq ft facility have already commenced with the completion date set for August 2021.
