ROSPA goes ‘Ultra Low’ with latest guide
The ‘Driving Ultra Low Emission Vehicles’ guide produced by The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (ROSPA), supported by the Department for Transport, sets out the main types of Ultra Low Emission Vehicles (ULEVs) and provides an overview of the positive and negative aspects of each type of vehicle.
The guide also provides information about the types of journey, performance and safety of ULEVs, with details on charging the vehicle and how to plan your journey, especially longer journeys where en-route charging is required.
The ROSPA guide will assist FORS Gold operators with FORS Standard Gold requirement ‘G6 Sustainable operations’ which requires operators to review how the negative impacts of their fleet operation can be reduced over time, with a considered evaluation for using ultra low and zero emissions capable vehicles into their fleet.
